The 4 Steps of a Credit Review...

Communication

If you are at risk of experiencing Financial Difficulties, or fall into arrears, it is best to let us know as soon as possible.

We will offer you the option of a credit review to consider your situation.

If you accept this offer, we will conduct a full credit review. In this review, we will look at your credit facilities, loan security, income and expenditure and consider your circumstances.

Credit Reviews are available even if you are not in Financial Difficulty. We also offer to hold an annual meeting with you to complete your Credit Review.

Financial Information

To help us identify how best to assist you we will look for you to complete an Income & Expenditure form (which is available to download below). We will also request you provide supporting documentation to help us best assess your case.

Assessment

Based on the information you provide we will determine a strategy to put in place a long-term solution to resolve your financial difficulties. Mars Capital is very aware of the importance of Small and Medium Enterprises to both national and local economies and wants to be able to support these enterprises. We have a range of forbearance options available to help you.

Resolution

Based on these solutions we will propose an approach to you that we will feel is better for your situation. If we can’t find a solution, or you don’t accept the solution we offer, we’ll work with you around what the next steps are.

It is important to be proactive when financial difficulties arrive, and we encourage early engagement. You could be classified as being in Financial Difficulty if you are in arrears for 3 consecutive months on your loan facility.

By working together, we can identify what options are available to you in order to address your arrears or financial difficulties.
