Snow - Financial Difficulties

Help & Advice

We have a dedicated Arrears Support Unit (ASU) available to work with you if you are having repayment difficulties or are worried that repayment problems may arise.

Call us today on LoCall 1800 816 207 , if calling from abroad, +353 1 525 5624.

Our approach to managing arrears and defaults is to engage in dialogue with borrowers so that we can fully understand their circumstances and find a suitable solution to their problems.

We encourage borrowers who may be encountering, or are concerned about, financial difficulties to speak to us as soon as possible. This is particularly important because the sooner you do so the greater the chance we have of being able to come to a satisfactory resolution with you to address these difficulties.

Lenders are restricted from imposing charges and/or surcharge interest on arrears arising on a mortgage account in arrears to which the Central Bank’s Code of Conduct on Mortgage Arrears applies unless the borrower is not co-operating. If you are not co-operating, charges may apply in line with regulation, facility documentation and security documentation. Such charges may include surcharge interest.

Mars Capital Finance Ireland DAC does not currently impose any charges on customers who are not co-operating with us. Further, we do not currently impose any fees or charges in relation to the products or services we offer.

We strongly advise that you take appropriate independent financial and/or legal advice in relation to your mortgage loan account. The following sources of information may be helpful to you:
